Tropical Pineapple Sorbet

Great food is supposed to be a journey for your senses, and this fabulous dessert by R.W. Knudsen is a one-way ticket to taste bud paradise. It's made with fresh pineapple and their Tropical Veggie Blend to create a taste we know you'll love. Bon voyage!


  • 4 cups cubed fresh pineapple
  • 1/8 teaspoon finely grated gingerroot
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 3/4 cup natural cane turbinado sugar
  • 2 cups R.W. Knudsen Family® Nature's Peak™ Tropical Veggie Blend


  1. PLACE pineapple and ginger in food processor.
  2. Cover and process until smooth.
  3. COMBINE hot water and sugar in large bowl.
  4. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved.
  5. Stir in pineapple puree and juice blend.
  6. Pour into 13 x 9-inch pan.
  7. Freeze until firm.
  8. THAW frozen mixture 10 minutes.
  9. Spoon 1/4 of mixture into food processor.
  10. Cover and process until smooth.
  11. Transfer into 1 1/2-quart freezer-safe storage container.
  12. Repeat with remaining mixture, in 3 additional batches, adding each batch to storage container when complete.
  13. Cover and freeze until firm.
