Tofu Tacos

This vegetarian taco option will satisfy anyone who loves Mexican food. The tofu, beans, cheese, vegetables and seasoning come together to create a great flavor that will have you asking for seconds. The prep time is about 15 minutes, making this a quick go to recipe on those nights when you are short on time, but still want something that tastes delicious.


  • 1 pkg Nasoya Extra Firm Tofu
  • 1 tbsp Canola oil
  • 10 taco shells Seasoning:
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained Toppings:
  • 2 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • salsa


  1. In a medium bowl, add the seasoning packet.
  2. Crumble the tofu into bite size pieces and toss them in the spices until coated.
  3. Heat oil in a saute pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the garlic, onion, and green pepper stirring until tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the seasoned tofu, stir, and cook for 1 minute. Assemble the tacos and enjoy!
