Description

A huge hit with kids and adults, pizza really is the perfect meal. Best of all, it’s really fun and easy to make. For a cool new twist on the classic pie, gather the family into the kitchen to try this Taco Pizza recipe by Pacific Foods as a snack or even for dinner. Kids will love adding the olive, cheese, tomato, and tortilla chip toppings and, in just 30 minutes, your fiesta will be complete. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1lb Prepared pizza dough (fresh or frozen-if frozen, follow package instructions)
  • 2 -13.6 oz Pacific Foods Refried Pinto Beans (Vegetarian/Traditional) or PFO OG Refried Black Beans (Vegetarian/Vegetarian with Lime & Chilis)
  • 1 Cup prepared Enchilada Sauce
  • 2 Cups shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Monterrey Jack blend)
  • 2 Cups Cooked and Seasoned Taco Meat (optional)
  • ½ Cup Green Onions (white and green tops), chopped
  • 1 Cup Chopped grape tomatoes
  • ½ Cups Black olives, sliced
  • 1 Cup Tortilla Chips, slightly! crushed
  • 1 Cup Shredded lettuce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Roll dough to fit into a 1/2 sheet pan (13x17 in) with about a 1/2 inch over-hang
  3. Spray pan with non stick cooking spray and place dough into pan and fold over hang down dough to create a lip inside the pan
  4. Bake dough for 10 minutes
  5. Spread refried beans into an even layer over to cover the entire crust
  6. Add enchilada sauce and spread into an even layer to cover the beans
  7. Sprinkle an even layer of cooked seasoned taco meat (optional)
  8. Sprinkle an even layer of cheese to cover the entire pizza surface
  9. Top with green onions, chopped grape tomatoes & black olives
  10. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is completely melted
  11. Top pizza with crushed tortilla chips and bake for an additional 10 minutes
  12. Let pizza cool for 5 minutes then sprinkle on shredded lettuce & serve immediately
