Snackimals Cereal Bars

This recipe is a life saver. Having healthy treats on hand will keep your little cubs from turning into angry bears while waiting in line or when stuck in traffic. Bonus points for skipping the preservatives in normal off-the-shelf treats.


  • 3 cups Snackimals Cereal, Vanilla Blast
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup dried blueberries
  • 1/4 cup salted sunflower seeds
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp almond butter
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp brown rice syrup
  • 4 Tbsp honey
  • 1 Tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a square pan with a long piece of parchment paper. The ends of the paper should extend over the pan once the mixture is set inside it.
  3. Mix the Snackimals Cereal, cranberries, blueberries, seeds and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  4. Place the almond butter, brown rice syrup, honey, brown sugar and vanilla in a small sauce pan.
  5. Gently heat to melt the ingredients in the sauce pan, stirring all the while.
  6. Pour the melted mixture over the dry ingredients in the bowl.
  7. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  8. Spread the mixture into the square pan.
  9. Press it down with the back of a wooden spoon.
  10. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until the mixture in golden brown.
  11. Remove the pan from the oven and press the mixture down flat with the back of a wooden spoon.
  12. Allow mixture to cool.
  13. Grip the ends of the parchment paper and lift the mixture from the pan.
  14. Set it on a cutting board.
  15. Cut it into bars or squares with a knife.
