Oven-Baked Sweet Potato Fries

You order a side of sweet potato fries at almost every lunch, brunch and dinner, admit it. No need to limit your addiction to restaurant meals because now you can make these at home.


  • 2 lb sweet potatoes (peeled and cut into wedges)
  • 1/4 cup Emile Noel extra-virgin olive oil or walnut oil
  • salt +spices (cayenne chili powder, paprika, or any seasoning of choice)

Note: The baking times are approximate; it depends on how thick you cut the wedges or rounds of sweet potatoes.


  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Peel and cut sweet potatoes into wedges.
  3. Toss wedges with oil, salt and spices.
  4. Spread potato wedges into a single layer on a baking pan.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Halfway through, at 15 minutes, take out the baking pan and turn the potatoes over to brown both sides.
