Hawaiian Chicken Sliders with Garlic Mayo

A Tastemaker recipe for Hawaiian chicken sliders with cheese, pineapple and garlic mayo.


  • 4 Alexia® Artisan French Rolls
  • 1 pkg (13.5 oz each) Alexia® Crispy Onion Rings with Panko Breading & Sea Salt
  • 4 chicken cutlets
  • 1 cup teriyaki marinade
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 large clove garlic, grated
  • Dash salt
  • Dash ground black pepper
  • Nonstick grilling spray
  • 4 slices fresh pineapple
  • 4 slices Pepper Jack cheese, quartered
  • Lettuce, optional


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place French rolls on one cookie sheet and onion rings on a second cookie sheet. Bake according to package directions.
  2. Combine chicken and teriyaki marinade in re-closeable food storage bag. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, stir together mayonnaise, garlic, salt and pepper in small bowl; set aside. 1.Spray cold grate of gas grill with grilling spray.
  4. Preheat grill for medium-high heat.
  5. Place chicken and pineapple slices on grill grate; grill on both sides or until chicken is cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and pineapple is browned lightly.
  6. Discard remaining marinade. Remove from grill; halve pineapple slices.

To assemble:

  1. Split the French rolls in half; place 1 piece chicken on bottom of each roll.
  2. Top with 2 pieces of cheese and 2 pieces of pineapple.
  3. Place back in oven until cheese melts.
  4. Spread 2 teaspoons garlic mayo on each top of rolls; place over pineapple to close rolls.
  5. Serve with additional teriyaki and garlic mayo, if desired.
  6. Serve with onion rings.
