Mason jars seem to be all the rage these days, don’t they? From holiday décor to pendant lights, jars seem to be everywhere. Once used mainly for canning, you can make pretty much any kind of recipe in a mason jar these days. Here I’ve created two different breakfast-in-a-jar options, one hot, one cold. The cold breakfast jar is great for putting together the night before and using as a grab-n-go breakfast in the morning. It’s perfect for anyone who tends to rush out the door without breakfast.

  • 1/4 Cup Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp.Organic Jam
  • 1 Van's Natural Waffle

  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Mixed Berries
  • 1/4 Cup Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1/3 Cup Van's Honey Nut Crunch Cereal

  1. Mix 1/4 cup plain or vanilla yogurt with 1 Tbsp. organic jam in a small bowl. Add to the bottom of a glass jar.
  2. Toast a Van's Natural Waffle and cut into 4 strips.
  3. Arrange waffle strips in the jar.
  4. Multiply by how many people you have to serve. Perfect for a baby shower or brunch!

  1. Add 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries to the bottom of a glass jar.
  2. Add 1/4 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (try coconut yogurt if you are dairy-free)
  3. Seal the jar with a lid and place in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. In the morning, add 1/3 cup Van's Honey Nut Crunch cereal. Enjoy!
