Hearty black beans break the mold by adding new flavor and a creamier texture. South-of-the-border meets the Middle East. Ingredients 3 cups cooked black beans, rinsed and drained* or 30 oz. canned black beans, drained 3/4 cup tahini 1/4 cup cilantro, firmly packed 1/4 cup fresh orange juice 3/4 cup green onions, sliced 2 Tbsp. olive oil 4 medium garlic cloves, minced 1 tsp. ground cumin 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. paprika (optional topping) 1 box Mary’s Gone Crackers Caraway Seed Crackers Directions To prepare black beans rinse one cup dry beans thoroughly and soak in warm water overnight. Drain water from beans and add vegetable broth. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and continue to cook over low to medium heat until beans are soft. Combine first 10 ingredients in food processor until smooth. Serve with Mary’s Gone Crackers Caraway Seed Crackers.
