Beet, Mozzarella & Naan Bread Pizza

If your favorite bistro and Indian take out place had a baby, this flatbread would be the result. Serve it as an appetizer at your next get together or as an easy dinner. Get creative with toppings if you’d like (oh hello artichokes and arugula…).


  • 2 plain naan breads
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 small garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup cooked beets, cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni (if you’d like!)
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded or torn into pieces
  • Freshly ground black pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Arrange the naan on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the parsley, garlic and olive oil, then divide between the naan and spread all over with the back of a spoon.
  4. Top each naan evenly with the mozzarella, beets, pepperoni and any other toppings that you choose to add.
  5. Grind over a little black pepper and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the naan is crisp and the cheese melted.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
