If it were socially acceptable to live off of appetizers and desserts, I would be the first one to sign up. In all honesty, I’m usually full by the time the appetizers are put away and not ready to eat again until the first pie is pulled out of the oven. There are just too many delicious dips, spreads, and miniature dishes to try that I can’t bear to leave them untouched; and with the holidays coming up, the options are only going to get greater! It’s a pretty big dilemma I face, but the real struggle is finding a way to stay gluten-free while dreams about crackers and flour-covered snacks dance in my head.
So in lieu of gifts this holiday season, I went out and invested in a Crunchmaster feast. Even though the crackers themselves are a delightful treat all year round, it turns out they make the perfect substitution for gluten containing ingredients in all of my favorite appetizers AND desserts! There are countless Cruchmaster recipes that stand to offer the best gluten-free appetizers yet, including cranberry crusted baked brie, white cheddar stuffed mushrooms, and mini quiches. And when dessert comes around, there are options as rich as creamy cheesecake with a gluten-free crust, or as delectable as Gluten Free Pecan Cranberry Tart.
But don’t just listen to one appetizer/dessert obsessed girl. Crunchmaster recipes have a healthy alternative recipe for every course this holiday season. If I (by some miracle) make it to the dinner table with room to spare, I would love to try the Grilled Almond Cherry Tofu, or a heaping bowl of Quinoa Cilantro Taco Salad . With Crunchmaster and the variety of gluten-free recipes they share, there is no end to the holiday munching possibilities!
